You're gonna need: training, coaching, acting skills, a studio quality microphone, and equipment including an interface, acoustic treated space, marketing materials, you're gonna need a demo, you're gonna need a website, competitive understanding of who you are in the industry and what skills set you apart and what makes you unique and what's the most valuable to people who are hiring, a sales plan, you need social media, you need Google -- because everybody needs Google -- ways to find people who hire talent, talent agents, local connections, patience, acceptance of rejection, a thick skin, a positive attitude, startup money, and of course... the gift of gab.
