I’m excited—it’s like it’s my birthday. It’s almost my birthday, not quite, but this is always exciting. Plus, I get to play with knives. I mean, what’s not to love?

Also, just so you know, a good soundproofing company will always box things so that you don’t have to worry about whether or not you’re going to cut into the soundproofing.

This is beautifully, beautifully packaged.

Okay, here we go… oh, I can already see so many things I like. This kit came with complete mounting—that almost never happens. Normally, when you buy soundproofing… well, I really shouldn’t say soundproofing—acoustic treatment—it doesn’t come with all of that.

And yes, kids, I know I just used a knife towards myself. Don’t ever do that. That’s a bad idea.

So check these out—how cool are these? I’m so excited. Tomorrow we put them up!

24 Hours Later

All right guys, it has been 24 hours.

Now, these don’t puff up a whole lot because this is really more of a diffuser panel than what you’re normally used to with a lot of acoustic treatment.

So, my buddies at Arrowzoom, right? They sent these over to me. They’re amazing for a couple of reasons.

First of all—there’s no smell. Now, if you have ever bought acoustic treatment of any type, it stinks so bad. I have had to let so much of the acoustic treatment in my studio off-gas and air out, and it’s just gross.

This stuff? I’m shocked. No smell. None at all. It’s amazing—out of the box, ready to go.

Installing Arrowzoom Panels

This is how easy it is to install: you literally just peel off the adhesive sticky backing, and then—these are pieces obviously we already put up previously—and then you just place it and press it.

I’m going to hold on to that for a couple of minutes just to really let the adhesion stick, but these are phenomenal diffuser panels for:

• Musicians

• Studios

• Voice actors

• Gamers

• Anybody who’s looking to really reduce space—maybe even a playroom, like if your kids are super loud.
  

But these are really amazing because they’re decorative, right? They’re just pretty.

Soundproofing is usually—let’s be honest—it’s really ugly stuff. You know, it’s just gray swirly foam, it picks up a kind of dust. These are going to be a lot easier to maintain, and they’re a lot easier on the eye.

So that’s pretty much it for install. I’m starting to place these all over my studio in different places just to have really a little pop of something different.

For those of you who know my channel, you know my office is pretty well acoustically treated already, so I’m just kind of adding these in as a little bit of an accent.

But if you’re starting from scratch, these are a phenomenal product to look into, because this—in conjunction with some of the traditional acoustic foam that Arrowzoom offers—will get you set.
